The Architect

Story

Sherlocked found a hidden room underneath the old Amsterdam Stock exchange. It has not been used or altered since 1934. The room appears to be an old office owned by H.P. Berlage, a mysterious architect. There have been rumors that Mr. Berlage was a high-ranking member of the most secretive Society of the Crossed Keys. This organization is known for guarding the world’s most powerful secrets. However, no one has seen or heard of the Society or their secrets since the year that Berlage died in 1932. Your team is called upon to help figure out the secrets of the Society of the Crossed Keys. Do you have what it takes to unravel the secrets of the architect?

Highlights/Your Opinion/Review:

I had a lot of fun doing the escape room. Despite the large room, the puzzles are laid out very logically. It flows well. You are not overwhelmed with all the possibilities or amount of “stuff” in the room. My favorite aspect of the room is that your experience starts from the moment you enter through the building’s large double doors. This includes locking-up your items, going to the restroom, and the introduction to the room. There is a wide variety of puzzles that include a balanced mix of high tech and low tech puzzles. If you escape and solve the mystery, you are rewarded with a little token of their appreciation.
