Venue
From the entrance, there's nothing special about this tiny little escape room housed in the middle of New York. A small lobby, without much to show, its's clear that the NYC land costs are not very friendly. Until you realize that Exit Escape Room just cares more about making their rooms the best experience possible! High-tech and interactive rooms are their staple, and I'm excited to see what they create next!
Story
Fun day in the sun! You're on your way to the park, when suddenly - you realize the subway train you're on is going a little faster than expected. The train's been abandoned by the conductor and will soon crash! Its up to you to find the emergency stop and deactivate the game before your name ends up on the next tragic NYC headline!
Review
Exit Escape Room describes High Speed NYC as: "The ultimate innovative hi-tech escape game!". So be assured, I entered with a watchful eye. Even so, the room continued to surprise. From the moment you enter the dressed up subway train, the immersion sets in; it probably helps that you took the subway an hour earlier just to get to the room. The room houses some great puzzles that take full advantage of the provided space/theme that keeps you interested in the story. As you proceed through the game, you'll grow more and more impressed! High Speed NYC is sure to be a great time!
